An ACD said this to me a few years ago, and there are few better compliments to receive as a freelancer. It’s important to bring strong creative ideas and deliver great copy, but I believe that it’s just as important to be versatile, flexible and dependable. It’s a business that brings new challenges every year, and that’s where over 20 years of experience come in handy.

In that time, I’ve worked on automotive, financial, and governmental projects. I’ve extolled the virtues of jewelry, wine, popcorn and Prince Edward Island.

I’ve written TV, social, experiential and billboards. I’ve done full websites and 15-second pre-roll. I’ve handled B2B, CRM, SEO, and every other kind of acronym you can think of.

I’ve had to put on a wig and fill in for an unavailable actor for a web banner. I’ve spent an hour driving around with a Tina Turner impersonator shooting a company’s internal launch video.
